Home Office Space Ideas for Working Moms πŸ‘©πŸΌβ€πŸ’»

At the start of this year I was granted the opportunity with my current company to continue my position as a Senior Financial Analyst, with the added flexibility to work from home around my own hours. As equally as I express my appreciation of being given this gift, I also have to celebrate myself πŸ™ŒπŸ». In my 10 year career as a financial analyst I have worked aggressively and tirelessly to get to where I am, and I am rather proud of my accomplishments. I have proven my value through my unwavering work ethic, quality of my work, and one of a kind skill set. This does not go undeserving or one sidedly as a favor upon me, but truly, as a mutually beneficial arrangement between my employer and I. What I’m most grateful for is not only do I get to continue to do what I love, but also, my kids get more of me. Their childhood has been changed forever, which will shape the rest of their lives and who they become as adults, and to me, that is priceless. I will be forever indebted, and will continue to show my gratitude through my merits and continued relationships with those I work with ✨.

DIY No Sew, No Dent Baby Bow Headband πŸŽ€

DIY No Sew, No Dent Baby Bow Headband πŸŽ€

It’s funny to me being a second time mom. My daughter turns 6 months old tomorrow (halfway to 1 years old 😱) and I laugh because when my son was that age I already had like 20 hand sewn soft soled baby shoes I made for him 🀣. It’s definitely more difficult to do DIY projects with 2 little ones now, but I’m determined to get them in at least monthly.

Happy 6 months, Harlow Reese ✨

You have been such an easygoing, joyful baby. Every time you smile you make my day shine brighter. πŸ˜ƒ I love you, babydoll!

Here’s a DIY No Sew, No Dent Baby Bow Headband. Best part is, it only takes about 10 minutes to make!

Quick Thirty Minute Full Body at Home Workout for Working Moms πŸ’ͺ🏼

Quick Thirty Minute Full Body at Home Workout for Working Moms πŸ’ͺ🏼

They say half the battle is getting to the gym, however, as a working mom with two little ones, half the battle is getting to the car to get to the gym πŸ˜‚. Before kids I was pretty regimented with my fitness routine. Worked out 4-5 days a week, and meal prepped healthy meals on Mondays for the whole week. After the birth of my second child, soon my workouts consisted of carrying a 14 lb. baby, chasing my toddler around, and being lucky to find the time to eat 3 meals a day. When life got to this point I knew I had to make changes because my wellness has always been an important factor in keeping my mind, body, and soul balanced. Also, I just found staying active elevated my energy and mood, which successively helps me be a better mother to my children. Scratch that, coffee does that 🀣 haha!

21, Forever 21 Outfits πŸ‘—

21, Forever 21 Outfits πŸ‘—

Now that summer is coming to a close, and before I switch out my wardrobe, I’d like to take a moment to commemorate 21, Forever 21 work outfits I wore this past summer. πŸ™‚πŸ™ƒ

Before I worked at my current company, I used to work at a digital advertising agency for 8 years. It was a very relaxed environment with an even more laid back dress code policy. Sometimes I used to roll into work in my Minnie Mouse pajama sweater πŸ˜‚ after a long night (before kids, if you know what I mean πŸ˜‰). I never had to have 2 different wardrobes for work and outside of work, or think about my outfit violating any kind of dress code, until now.

DIY Baby Crop Top and Bloomer Set 🌸

When I found out I was having a girl I was so excited about the thought of making her clothes. This is the first piece (of many to come) that I made for Harlow. UGH! Just look how cute she is! Almost 5 months old. She’s so curious about the world lately. She’s already rolling around trying to crawl. She loves her brother so much, it’s so heartwarming to see. You have to check out my Instagram Stories with them two!

Home is Where Your Mom is 🏑

Home is Where Your Mom is 🏑

Maybe it’s our innate nurturing role, or the calming energy we bring to our family, but to me…

H O M E is definitely where mom is.

My home has always been my sanctuary. My place of retreat. Away from the outside world and all its chaos. And it all started with my mom and the home she created for my siblings and I as a child.

Now that I’ve become a mother myself, I’ve embraced this responsibility and task for my own family. Every detail I’ve put into each room in my home, I’m quite proud of.

So, here’s a look into my home!

DIY Soft Soled Baby Shoes πŸ‘Ÿ

DIY Soft Soled Baby Shoes πŸ‘Ÿ

Here is a custom made pattern and detailed instructions for DIY soft soled baby shoes. For those 10 little piggy toes to be worn to the market and all the way home! (I just had to 🀣)

I custom made this pattern to include everything I wanted in a soft soled baby shoe, which was comfort with a modern design. A lot of the patterns I saw online didn’t meet both of those needs, so custom was the way to go. This design is not only seamless (for comfort), the cuts are more modern and the construct is easier than some seamless ones I demo’d online.

Check it out!
