This family vacation was one for the books! So many wonderful memories captured, thanks to my love Mike 💓. Our stay was last minute, booked 2 weeks prior. I had requested time off from work knowing I wanted to go somewhere with the family, I just didn’t know where. I was long overdue to get away, and what a perfect getaway it was.
Over Thanksgiving weekend I rounded up the cavalry for a casual family photoshoot. I’ve been meaning to share this on the blog, but have been super busy with work as it’s my busy season with my company’s budget 😱. Also, without realizing, I took on some side contract work because I have a problem with saying no 😑. Sometimes I don’t know what I get myself into haha! You feel me?! I’ve also been feeling guilty for neglecting my blog, but prioritizing my time as a working mom of two little ones is not easy. Sleep always wins 🤷🏼♀️. I promise (you and myself) that I’ll get back on it in the next coming weeks! I’ve already got some stuff brewing!
In our family, Sundays are for Papa’s Motorhome. Mike’s grandpa (aka Papa) purchased his Motorhome in 1997, and since then it has been filled with many family gatherings and memories. It’s kind of crazy to see the multiple generations of grandchildren (and now great grandchildren) that have spent their childhood there. Every Sunday Mike’s grandparents take it to the Bay and we will either spend the day there, or make an effort to at least stop by when we’re out and about. Mike loved it as a kid, our son looks forward to it every weekend, and I’m sure our daughter will grow to enjoy it.
This is my T R I B E.
First, there’s me. Truly the Queen of my own castle. The motor that gets everything running and the glue that holds everyone together.
Then there’s Mike. The love of my life. The grounded earth sign for my very emotional and complex water sign self. The quiet one with the loud mind. Full of integrity and genuineness. My real life Prince Charming and constant reminder that chivalry is not dead in this 21st century.
