At the start of this year I was granted the opportunity with my current company to continue my position as a Senior Financial Analyst, with the added flexibility to work from home around my own hours. As equally as I express my appreciation of being given this gift, I also have to celebrate myself πŸ™ŒπŸ». In my 10 year career as a financial analyst I have worked aggressively and tirelessly to get to where I am, and I am rather proud of my accomplishments. I have proven my value through my unwavering work ethic, quality of my work, and one of a kind skill set. This does not go undeserving or one sidedly as a favor upon me, but truly, as a mutually beneficial arrangement between my employer and I. What I’m most grateful for is not only do I get to continue to do what I love, but also, my kids get more of me. Their childhood has been changed forever, which will shape the rest of their lives and who they become as adults, and to me, that is priceless. I will be forever indebted, and will continue to show my gratitude through my merits and continued relationships with those I work with ✨.

I know we’re week three into the new year, and this post may seem a little tardy haha, but I’ve been adjusting to a new routine and also, mom life πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ. I wanted to reflect on the wonderful year I had in 2017. In the past I’ve always been so quick to close the door on another year, and start fresh in the new year, but I wanted to show my gratitude to 2017. It was such an accomplishing year for me. There were so many blessings. I birthed a baby, birthed a blog, blossomed in my role as a mother (of now two), and fulfilled one of my career long dreams.
